- A radical departure from conventional designs, the
X-Shear is innovative yet simple, providing high production quality,
high output and high cost efficiency. Fully
programmable computer control utilizing proprietary MTM software and
top-grade components provide excellent cutting precision of +/- 0.15mm with a
maximum burr of 20 microns. Combined with the reduced handling of
laminations due to automatic stacking, superior log joints can be
made which minimize core losses.
- The standard configuration handles core steel widths to 600mm and lengths to 3,500mm. The shear array also creates V-notches. A bolting hole punch is optional.
The X-Shear System is environmentally efficient, utilizing a compact footprint of 10x2m and low power requirement of 8kW maximum.
