High Speed Mitered Core Shears Set
For distribution type transformers up to 2MVa class / Offset mitered cores or Vertical step-lap cores
The MTM core shears set is a team of 3 lines:
- 2 lines for yoke and leg production, each with a dual spindle rotating turret dereeler
- 1 line for center leg production, with a dual spindle rotating turret dereeler

The trio combines a very high speed of 180 pieces/min with excellent precision of +/- 0.2mm and <20 micron burr. Each machine has fully programmable computer control, top-grade componentry, and is solidly constructed with appropriate heft to reduce NVH to very low levels.The standard configuration handles core steel widths to 150mm, centerline lengths to 580mm, and 3 step vertical step-lap offset. The computer positions and fires the shears, v-notcher, and hole punch according to the program. A special cutting algorithm can be activated with any program to minimize scrap in the notch cuts, ensuring efficient use of core steel.
